Smoother rides on Singapore roads

Commuters and motorists in Singapore can now better plan their trips, thanks to a unique collaboration between Google and Singapore’s Land Transport Authority (LTA) which makes maps, directions and route planning for various forms of land transport modes available for free on Google Maps. These transport modes include buses, trains, cars and even walking.

Google “Call for idea”

In celebration of Google 10 years, they are inviting all netizen to participate in their new project called “10 to the 100″.

This is rather like our Tan Kah Kee Young inventors award in Singapore, except that there’s no age limit.
But the difference is that there’s no monetary prize, so your idea will have to be given away for free.
The intention is to make the world a better place to live in.
