INNOVIC (Australia) is conducting a “Next Big Things Award” award for new innovation.
They are inviting inventors to submit their invention through their website.
Closing date for submission is 16 March 2009.
21 Finalists will be chosen from the submission.
Below are some important note taken from their FAQ.
- Finalists also win the right to exhibit their innovation at the Next Big Thing Award 2008 exhibition, Melbourne Museum. Innovations will be on display for a period of 6 weeks.
- All finalists will receive two complimentary tickets to attend the Award ceremony and Sponsors Breakfast in Melbourne. Interstate finalists will also receive one return economy airfare and overnight accommodation to attend the Awards ceremony.
- Finalists are also required to make arrangements to get their innovations to Melbourne for the exhibition (at their cost) and set up their display (where available) at the Melbourne Museum.
- To meet the terms and conditions for entry your innovation have been available for sale to the public.
- Entry is AUD$45, which is non-refundable.
